Children Dentistry

It’s important to bring your child to the dentist by their first year of age to catch any problems and so that they can learn about the dentist early.

Your Child’s First Visit

We know kids can get scared or restless at the dentist. That’s why we try to make things as smooth and quick as possible for your little ones with different options for treating them.

When you first bring in your children, you’ll be welcomed by reception who will do everything they can to provide a relaxing environment for your child. The Canadian Dental Association recommends that your child visits the dentist after their first tooth comes in or by one year of age. Generally, a dental exam every 6 months should catch any problems with your child’s teeth before they become BIG problems.

  1. Find out if your home cleanings are working
  2. Teaching your child that the dentist isn’t scary and can help them
  3. Identify problems before they become bigger than they need to be.

Our dental team looks forward to welcoming you and your kids!
