Dental Bridges

Dental bridges help bridge the gap, between missing teeth.

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge connects crowns on either side of a gap with false teeth in between. The false teeth can be made of gold, alloys, or porcelain or a combination of these. They are then supported by natural teeth or implants.

What are the Benefits of Dental Bridges?

  • Restore your smile
  • Replaces missing teeth and reestablishes your functional bite
  • Prevents your natural teeth from drifting out of position
  • Helps restore normal chewing or speaking
  • Maintains your face shape

What is the Process of Getting a Dental Bridge

  1. During your first visit to get a dental bridge, the abutment (anchor) teeth are prepared. We prepare your teeth for your dental bridge by re-contouring enamel to allow for a crown over top. Next up we make model impressions of your teeth so they can be made in a dental lab. While the bridge is being made, we’ll give you a temporary bridge for the exposed gum and teeth.

  2. During your second visit, we’ll remove your temporary bridge and test your new bridge for the right fit. You might need to come back a few times to check if the metal framework and bite are fitting.
